Allergy as a Cause of Illness

An allergy is a condition marked by an abnormal sensitivity to one or more substances. When a person contacts an allergen, it causes a blockage that interferes with the normal flow of energy through the body’s electrical pathways. This blockage disrupts the communication between brain and body via the nervous system, initiating a chain of events that can develop into an allergic response.
